MONSTER HALIBUT! MONSTER WEEK!
The record catches keep coming in! High-fives filled the Resort last week for Waterfall’s largest halibut of the season! Jason Capra, Palm Harbor, FL, (the Boesch Group), brought aboard his 288 lb. Halibut on 7/14/09! What a story Boat 19, helmed by Guide Sean Fitze, had to tell when they returned! According to Waterfall’s Derby Hostess Emily Urbaniak, “It was quite the spectacle on the dock that day and the crowd got so quiet when they were about to weigh it, you could almost hear everyone simultaneously gasp. Pretty awesome, actually!” Emily continued her “Dockside Doings” with the report that Waterfall had an across-the-board record-setting week!

There were three 50+ Kings caught last week: Dan Rowe 55.9, Martin Gilmartin, 54.3, Robert Loiselle, 53.9!! In addition to Jason Capra’s Halibut, guests brought in season records for Silver Salmon and Red Snapper! Kudos and Congrats to Garret Vanderlinde for his 20 lb. Red Snapper and Allen Price for his 13.4 lb. Silver Salmon!

We always say that Waterfall is the place where the fishing stories are true! Last week testified to that!
